Architects offering project management goes back to the very roots of architecture. At Louis Karol, this role become much more sophisticated in the early 1960’s when Murray &
Stewart introduced the managed contract system in Cape Town. Using this form of contract, Louis Karol built most of the high-rise buildings in Cape Town; running meetings, preparing documentation programming, and monitoring the cost reports.
